The pre-, mid- and post-Olympics news coverage may have subsided, but lucky for Gainesville residents, Ryan Lochte can still be a part of our daily lives. Here’s a drinking game to celebrate.

If you’re pregaming on a time crunch, you should probably go straight to his Twitter feed and drink every time you see: #jeah and you’d rather see #yolo, a desperate plea for a retweet from a 20-something female, any instance of shameless promotion for a product he might have gotten for free and any instance of shameless promotion for a Ryan Lochte signature product (for example: the highly anticipated “Lochte Hardcore” workout video — now available for pre-order). Enjoy your night out, and I’m sorry in advance if you roll over the next morning and see three Doritos Locos Tacos wrappers on your bedroom floor — remember your “real self” wouldn’t make that decision, so it doesn’t count.

The Grill

It’s platinum, bears a slight resemblance to our flag and can often be found in Ryan Lochte’s mouth. If you see something gleaming near his head and it’s not a medal, it’s probably his grill, and you need to drink. Whether you see it in a picture, in real life or in your mind’s eye, grab a drink and grin while you chug. You have to keep grinning as you’re chugging.

Our boy likes to party, and UF students love to document it with their smartphones. Your Facebook news feed is probably more than familiar with blurry mobile uploads of your friend sweating next to Ryan Lochte. Drink for however many “likes” the picture gets.

Be Your Own Olympian

Grab your pal Michael (everybody knows at least one Michael) and start drinking bottles of beer. The first person to reach 11 (Lochte’s medal count) wins, and the loser has to turn the winner’s beer bottle caps into 11 individual necklaces — now you can feel like an Olympian too.

Real-Life Encounter

If you’re lucky enough to see him in real life, you have one simple task: drink enough truth serum to walk up and confess to him — regardless if you’re a dude or a chick— that you’ve been crushing on him since Athens. What's ultrafast human being Usain Bolt up to now that he's won a bunch of gold medals at the London Olympics? Drinking a gigantic bottle of champagne priced at £80,000 (US $125,496), like you do. (Kind of makes that $3,000 cocktail another club was giving out to gold medalists seem like kids' stuff?) According to the AP, Bolt was celebrating at London club Movida with other Olympians when a Nebuchadnezzar of Armand de Brignac Champagne (AKA the Ace of Spades) was sent over.

Bolt and his pals apparently stayed til 6:00AM. Well, yeah, a Nebuchadnezzar is the equivalent of 20 bottles of champagne, and you probably need at least that long to work your way through the bottle.

NBA 2K13 focuses on new players rather than vintage, but that isn't stopping the 1992 Olympic Dream Team from putting in an appearance.

The London Olympics closed on Sunday, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop living the Olympic dream. Don’t stop rocking that happy hour for Olympic basketball games if you don’t want to! 2K Sports is actually going to lend you a helping hand come October when NBA 2K13 comes out, as the game will sport USA’s basketball teams both new and old.

The 2012 USA Basketball Men’s National Team—their official, unwieldy title—will be featured in the latest version of 2K’s annual NBA series. Since classic NBA players have become such an important part of the series, it’s not too surprising that the 1992 Olympic Dream Team that included Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and other superstars of the era will also make it into the game.

Turns out 2K13’s guest producer Jay Z insisted. “As executive producer, letting fans go head to head with these legendary USA teams was extremely important to Jay Z,” reads 2K’s press release.

There you have it. Not just Olympic basketball action but vintage Olympic basketball action, so adjust your Olympics Drinking Game rules appropriately.

Cool that the ’92 Dream Team is in there but 2K Sports and Jay Z should consider a more significant basketball match up from 1992 for inclusion: Godzilla versus Barkley.

After nearly four years of development, Orbea onSunday released the new Ordu time trial/triathlon bike in Denver. Besidessubstantial gains in aerodynamics over the old Ordu, the new Ordu frames offerhuge adjustability in fit. Also, one model comes with Shimano’s brand newelectric Ultegra Di2 time trial/triathlon wiring system.

One unique feature of the frame is the integratedMonolink stem, which pivots at the steerer tube for 140 degrees of verticaladjustment. Further, each frame ships with four stem lengths (75, 95, 110 and120mm) to dial in handlebar position without a single spacer.

“It’s super clean,” said Orbea USA’s managingdirector Tony Karklins. “There are no spacers, no shims. You don’t have to useany specific handlebars. For a bike fitter, it’s a dream.”

The bike comes in four frame sizes, the smallestof which is a 650c bike. “We’re calling that one a 48cm frame, but it’s muchsmaller than a 700c 48cm bike,” Karklins said.

The bike comes in five models, including the$5,499 GLi2 with the new Shimano Ultegra Di2 time trial/triathlon drivetrain.“We expect this one to be huge,” Karklins said. “With the new Di2 wiring at thenew Ultegra price point, this is going to change the game. Now you can haveelectric time trial and triathlon bikes at a completely new price point.”

The other bikes include the $4.499 Ordu GLT withmechanical Ultegra, the $5,999 Ordu GRD with SRAM Red, the $6,499 Ordu GDR with11-speed Shimano Dura-Ace and, by spring, the GDi2 with 11-speed Dura-Ace Di2.

While many companies have chosen to tuck thefront brake of their TT/tri bikes behind or inside the fork, Orbea stuck with astandard caliper. This move wasn’t out of laziness, however, but theirwind-tunnel work.

“We choose not to go internal on the brakecaliper on the fork, because as we were doing work to put the caliper inside,the fork kept getting less and less aerodynamic,” Karklins said. “Also, thereare lots of great aero calipers out there from Magura, Tetkro and others. Andat the same time, we know the disc brake train is coming for triathlon/TTbikes.”

Each Ordu ships with two tops caps for organizing internal cable routing: one for mechanical systems and one for electric drivetrains

Karklins said that although the bike made hugegains in aerodynamic drag over the previous Ordu, “we still took time to makesure the bike rides the way you want it to ride.”

“You can make some tubes a little too thin, and whileit may look fast, it can compromiseride quality,” Karklins said.

Matching the stem, the Ordu has a Monolinkseatpost, which comes with two kits: one for Monolink single-rail saddle andone for standard dual-rail saddles.

Also, the Ordu is selling with the popular ISMergonomic saddle for the first time.

The bikes will begin shipping in October.

KS adds a new bargain priced dropper seatpost, called the eTen, for 2013. Total travel is set at 100mm and it will be offered in both manual and remote versions. Costs range from US$150 to $US175 (James Huang/Future Publishing)

Mountain bikers looking for the technical advantages of a dropper postwithout the price tag of one of the higher-end options now have a budget option from KS.

The new eTen seatpost offers 100mm ofdrop via air sprung and hydraulically locked internals similar to the company'sflagship LEV seatposts.

However, whereas the LEV has its guts built directly into the aluminumstanchion, the eTen uses a separate sealed steel cartridge for easiermanufacturing. Also, the eTen uses a more basic microadjustable single-boltseatpost head, as opposed to the LEV's twin-bolt setup.

Not surprisingly, the eTen is also quite a bit heavier at 643-723gdepending on size. But on the upside it's also quite inexpensive. The cableactuated remote version is just US$175, while the manual variant is cheaperstill at only US$150.
